Declan's Signs

Declan now knows 4 signs:

• Milk
• Moon
• Down

And about 200 words. But it takes a LOT of expertise and context to know what he's saying. Only his mom and I can do it. He really only has about 8 or 9 consonants (e.g. pudding, puddle and pumpkin all sound the same-"puh", ditto for dad, dog and that-"dah").

He can't say "S", "G" or "F" either. So "Santa" comes out "hahn" and "Frog" comes out "aw" and "Giraffe" is "rah".

He figured out the Diaper

Declan just figured out how to remove his diaper.

We're in BIG trouble.

And no, at 16 months, he's not even close to being potty trained.
